How
NanoShield Technology Works

Our sealant doesn’t just sit on the surface — it modifies the molecular structure of asphalt shingles using engineered nanoparticles just 40–60 nanometers wide.

These particles penetrate deep, forming chemical bonds that strengthen, hydrate-proof, and extend the lifespan of your roof — from the inside out.

  • Scientifically engineered nanosealers — not surface coatings
  • Strengthens each shingle and bonds them together
  • Outperforms traditional oil- or tar-based sealants
  • Proven to extend roof lifespan by 10–15 years
  • Backed by independent peer-reviewed research

How It Works Graphic

NanoShield’s GoNano® treatment doesn’t just coat the surface — it bonds on a molecular level. Once applied, nanoparticles between 40–60 nanometers enter the pores of your shingles or surfaces and begin reacting.

These reactions form S1 particles, which restructure the material internally. Unlike traditional coatings that crack or peel, NanoShield creates chemical links that connect shingles to each other and enhance their resistance to water, UV, and age-related breakdown.

The result? A surface that is more flexible, more hydrophobic, and significantly more durable — all without altering its appearance. Just one application can extend your roof or wood’s lifespan by up to 15 years.
